FlavourShop.ae works with 2 established flavour houses with a combined presence across the UAE and international markets. Both suppliers hold Halal certification and internationally recognised food safety certifications. Full technical data sheets, safety data sheets, Halal statements and certificates of analysis are available upon request for every listed product.

The founder

Built by someone who has been on both sides of this industry.

FlavourShop.ae was created by Mahbir Thukral, a marketing and commercial director with 15+ years of experience inside the global flavour and ingredients industry.

Until recently, Mahbir spent nearly 8 years at IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances), one of the world's largest flavour and speciality ingredient companies, where he served as Global Director of Marketing Technology & Customer Experience. He built IFF's first global B2B e-commerce platform from zero.

Before IFF, Mahbir founded Mahbir Teas, Herbs & Spices, a consumer brand he took to food service and retail listings across the UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. As a founder sourcing speciality ingredients in small quantities, he sat on the other side of the table from the suppliers he later worked alongside.

FlavourShop.ae is not a tech startup that discovered a gap. It is built by someone who spent 15 years inside this industry, on both sides of the supplier and buyer equation.

Who we serve

FlavourShop.ae is open to UAE and GCC licensed food and beverage businesses. A valid UAE trade licence or a trade licence from a GCC country is required to place an order. VAT registration details are required at the point of ordering.

We serve manufacturers, product developers, NPD teams, private label brands, and food and beverage startups across all Emirates and the wider GCC.

FlavourShop.ae products are intended for food and beverage manufacturing and product development only. We are not yet able to serve food service, restaurants, or hospitality businesses directly. We are currently developing a range suited for the hospitality industry and will announce when it becomes available.
